Event Details

Divergent Hackathons 2025–26 are youth-driven, project-based events that empower high school students to take on real-world challenges in STEM, creativity, and leadership. Hosted at Microsoft facilities across 15 cities, these hackathons unite students, mentors, and community leaders through internships, coaching, and a youth-led execution model. With 100 students per city and a National Championship in Washington, D.C. (June 2026), Divergent Hackathons inspire innovation, teamwork, and community impact on a national scale.

Hackathon Tracks

Our hackathon features three exciting project tracks: Sustainability, Health & Wellness, and Education & Accessibility. Each track is designed to inspire creativity and address real-world challenges, empowering students to make a positive impact through technology. Participants can choose the track that aligns with their interests and passions:

Develop innovative solutions aimed at improving healthcare, mental health support, and overall well-being.
